Relating to Cases of Abuse

Jane Doe's case of sexual abuse gathered significant attention on both mainstream media and social media. Yet, the public reaction on social media is heavily skewed: almost all comments and posts on social media are done by women. Why is that?

The invitation of this session is to meet this phenomenon with curiosity, honesty and awareness. When topics of sexual violence and abuse come to the public conscience, what are the (hidden) mechanisms at play that lead mostly women to post on social media?

The session is an invitation for reflection and to initiate a first discussion amongst male bodies on this topic. All experiences and opinions are welcome.

When? Mon. 19.10.26 - 20:00 hrs.

Where? Online (Link upon registration)
